About Scarlett Coffee Roastery

Scarlett Coffee is a British boutique coffee roastery and café nestled away in the boundary between Angel and Islington. We adopted the Scarlet Ibis as our symbol. As bird lovers, we wanted a feathered friend to represent us. Its beautiful colouring and habitat in some of our favourite South American coffee-growing nations make it a natural fit as our spirit animal. After all, it spends almost as much time around coffee as we do!

All our coffees are single origin and sourced from some of the finest growers across the globe. We roast to highlight and emphasise to the full the unique character that every coffee has to offer, showcasing the farmers’ hard work in all its delicious glory. We test every batch we roast, always looking for ways to improve and develop these flavours even further. Whether you prefer espresso, filter or cafetière, we will have a coffee that appeals to your taste buds.

The flavor profile corresponds to the description, which is not always completely normal. Here you could find tons of almonds, strawberries, coffee had a very pleasant taste.
Balanced taste, pleasant acidity with a slight strawberry-almond tone.
So far, however, I have made only one V60, but the coffee was a pleasant surprise with plain water filtered with a carbon filter, however, I am going to test different extraction ratios and different types of water to see if I can enhance the fruit tones even more. (bottled water, TWW)
