Quality water is decisive for the taste of the prepared coffee, because coffee is 98% water. If the water is too hard, we will not achieve the full aroma of espresso coffee. The water also contains chlorine, often with traces of heavy metals and other undesirable substances. Scale deposits shorten the life of your coffee machine. The CLARIS filter, placed directly in the water tank, absorbs all harmful unwanted substances, while the important fluorides remain. The CLARIS filter cartridge is filled with organic material - without chemical additives.

When water is heated, limescale builds up, which slows down the heating process, increases energy costs and can cause the coffee machine to malfunction in the long run. Limescale also adversely affects the quality of the coffee itself. A larger amount of calcium carbonate gives the drink an unpleasant aftertaste and reduces the strength of the coffee aroma. The CLARIS filter provides optimal protection against limescale. Therefore, if you use CLARIS filters in your coffee machine, you do not need to descale the coffee machine.
Use:
The CLARIS filter is effective for 50 liters of water (approx. 350 coffees) or 2 months. Its replacement is very quick and simple. Do not use the filter in the coffee machine for longer, replace it after 2 months at the latest. Otherwise, there would be a risk of limescale clogging of the coffee machine.
