It's hard to find a similar coffee, so I'm happy even with a lesser version than none at all. When Coco Bongo and this one are sold out or out of season, I really miss coconut-infused coffees.
You can kind of taste chocolate and coconut, but it's also very tobacco-like and a little bitter. It's just not as good this time around. But I'll still keep buying it.
Last year's version was better: more coconut and some floral notes. IMO, it was lighter roasted.
This time, it seems darker than last time. At temperatures above 93°C, it starts to become undrinkable; I made the last version at 95-96°C. Finer grinding also produces an unpleasant bitterness, so it needs to be handled with care.
Recipe
Preparation method: V60 Coffee (g): 15 Water (g): 250 Water temperature: 92-93° Grinder (setting): Fellow Ode Gen.2 (4'1). Last year's version tasted great even at 4' Process: bloom + single pour

We bought three packs with my friends and tried different ways of preparing it, but we couldn't find any coconut.

It has a pleasant bitter chocolate flavor with a subtle hint of coconut. I find it tastier after it cools down.
I tried the V60, but I think I'll try the Moccamaster and Aeropress instead.
I expected a more pronounced coconut flavor.
On the V60, the aroma reminds me of burnt violets.

It seems to me that it's more suited to espresso. The coconut and chocolate are very distant, I can't taste them at all.
