If you love fruit filters, then you will surely fall in love with Peru MANUEL ELERA GEISHA coffee from the Spanish roaster Three Marks Coffee. This small blue box contains geisha coffee, which is known for its high quality and pleasant light fruity and floral taste. When you brew a cup of this beauty, you can look forward to fresh tropical fruit notes, the fruity sweetness of banana, and a warm chamomile aftertaste .

This coffee comes from the high mountain region of San José del Alto in the Peruvian province of Jaén. This is where Manuel Eler's farm is located , where he and his brother care for the coffee trees with deep integrity and technical knowledge of cultivation. The high altitude, cool mountain air, and rich biodiversity contribute to ideal conditions for growing coffee and ensure the complex flavor profile of beans from this region.

The coffee gets its fruitiness and sweetness from natural processing. During the harvest, which takes place from July to September, only the ripest cherries are hand-picked to ensure consistent quality. These cherries then undergo a double washing and subsequent soaking in a 2% salt solution for 3 to 4 hours – this step eliminates harmful fungi and ensures a clean, clear flavor profile. After a short rest in the same tank, the cherries are sealed in bags and fermented for 30 to 36 hours, allowing their complexity to develop. Drying is equally thorough – first, the surface is dried in a solar dryer, then the cherries rest overnight in sealed bags and are dried again in the sun the following day. This slow process, lasting approximately 20 days, allows the flavors to fully develop and gives the coffee depth and balance.

  • Altitude: 1550–1650 m above sea level.
