Would you like some fruit juice with some coffee?
Okay, a bit of an exaggeration, but not by much. In general, coffees are described as having some of those flavors, but we usually count on the fact that it will be mainly coffee and then some of those flavors (if we make it well, even recognizable).
Well, this is exactly the opposite. The list of how it should taste is really how it tastes.
The first thing that almost kicks you is the apple, if you make it in a filter (I use a small V60 and a Kalita Wave) you will smell something like warm apple juice already during production. If you succeeded, the apple is really quite a dominant flavor, then it's mainly honey-brown sugar-caramel. Something like caramelized apples maybe? Tangerines and light acidity are also present, but just a hint.
I also tried it at Chemex, the result is essentially a purely fruity drink, where the coffee flavor is barely detectable. And it's absolutely amazing, because you're drinking coffee that actually tas...Moretes completely different than you'd expect.
I recommend doing a little cupping so you know what you're getting into. In fact, only in this form is the coffee flavor noticeable. Plus, he will definitely be familiar with Aeropress. Everything else will be more or less extra fruity.
Can't really spoil this coffee, it's just too good.
