About Hard Beans

It all started back in 2009 when Kofeina Art Cafe was founded in Opole. HBCR is directly connected to the owners and employees of this unique place, which in 2016 received the Speciality Coffee Association award as the best Polish Specialty coffee house.

Hard Beans strives to roast large batches of coffee at the highest possible quality. In the future, they also want to immerse themselves in the creation of coffee-based beverages. They do all their work with these slogans in mind:

QUALITY

Their quality is exceptional, hand-picked grains from ecological plantations, it’s careful storage and individually selected roasting profiles; it’s the constant strive for perfection and research, as well as utmost care for client’s satisfaction, perfect hospitality.

TRANSPARENCY
Transparency to them means that it is clear how they work. They know where the grains come from, they tell how the roasting process looks like, they do their research and share their knowledge with those who love good coffee as we do.

PEOPLE

People love good coffee. For many of us, a good cup coffee is one that is shared with our friends and loved ones. That's why HBCR tries to make sure their coffee is a part of these moments and fill them with exceptional taste.

RITUAL
Coffee is a ritual. For everyone, it's a different, unique but absolutely inseparable element of drinking coffee. The same way that Hard Beans is inseparable from their work.

They want to create a world filled with the taste of top quality coffee available to anyone regardless of where or with whom they will drink it.

I was the least curious about this coffee out of the entire order, so I surprised myself with a full one
tea flavor. And since she is Ethiopian, there was no shortage of fruit. For me, this coffee is strawberry tea. In the stronger V60, the tea notes will fully erupt, whereas if you make it slightly weaker, you will be greeted with notes of ala strawberry pique. It's great for me and I will definitely try this roaster again.
