Nordbeans brings Ethiopia, which is roasted for filter coffee and will delight all fans of modern, fruity cups. The flavor combines sweet strawberries, ripe apricots, and juicy citrus fruits, which together create a distinctive, playful, and complex profile. Thanks to its light roast, this coffee has a rich body, medium acidity, and sweetness that really comes through in a dripper, Chemex, or Aeropress. It's a coffee that will transport you straight to the Ethiopian highlands and offer a unique experience, ideal for filter lovers looking for distinctive and juicy flavors.

Behind this coffee is Sookoo Coffee, founded by Ture Waji – known locally as the "King of Guji. " After gaining experience in export and farm management, he decided in 2018 to build his own brand based on quality, transparency, and sustainability. He brings together small farmers from the village of Teraga, located at an altitude of around 2,300 meters above sea level, and provides them with know-how and support, including pre-harvest loans. This allows farmers to focus their work on quality and development, contributing to the continuous improvement of local production. Thanks to such projects , the Guji region , neighboring the famous Sidamo and Yirgacheffe areas , has become synonymous with top-quality Ethiopian coffee that combines tradition, community work, and modern practices.

The coffee is processed using the natural method, which is one of the oldest and most distinctive. After harvesting, the ripe cherries are spread out on African beds, where they dry slowly for several weeks. They are turned regularly to ensure even drying and to prevent unwanted fermentation or mold. During this process, the pulp decomposes naturally, imparting sweetness and intense fruity notes to the beans. The result is a cup with a rich, sweet, and fermented character, dominated by distinctive strawberry and apricot notes, underscored by fresh citrus. This profile is an example of why Guji is one of the most sought-after coffee regions in the world.

A very pleasant fruity coffee.
Suitable for daily consumption.
For my taste, it needed too long to "age" before the pleasant flavor elements began to emerge (about two months after opening).
