Brno-based Monogram presents Ethiopian Fahem coffee in espresso roast, which stands out for its delicate structure, tea-like character, and elegant fruitiness. The profile of citrus, raisins, and black tea creates a balanced cup that combines light sweetness with medium acidity and a delicate dry finish. Espresso made from this coffee is fresh, yet calm and smooth – ideal for lovers of lighter, complex espressos with floral and dried fruit notes. In milk drinks, the profile softens and expands with hints of honey and vanilla, without losing its purity and elegance.

Behind this coffee is Fahem General Trading PLC , led by Mr. Mohammed Lal. The company operates a processing station in Checka, located in the Sheka region of western Ethiopia, known for its forests, natural conditions, and sustainable farming methods. The company works with more than 750 small farmers from the Atnago group , whose coffee trees grow in the shade of native trees at an altitude of 1,755–2,010 meters above sea level. The farmers combine traditional cultivation methods with an ecological approach, where 90% of the fertilization consists of organic components. This gives the coffee a distinctive sweetness, fresh acidity, and a clean flavor profile.

Processing is carried out using the washed method – ripe coffee cherries are hand-picked, then sorted, hulled, and fermented. After fermentation, they are thoroughly washed and dried on raised tables in the sun until they reach optimal moisture content. The dried coffee in its husk is then transported to Addis Ababa, where it undergoes final processing – removal of the parchment, sorting, and packaging. The entire process is focused on maximum purity and stability of the final cup, which offers a clear flavor profile with a delicate citrus acidity and a tea-like finish.
