Colombia Tropical Rush is a coffee that will immediately captivate you with its freshness and energy. It comes from the talented producer Wilmer Cuellar, who grew it on his Las Brisas farm in the southern Colombian region of Huila. This coffee is not only an oasis of tropical flavors, but also the result of the careful work that Wilmer puts into its cultivation. The Castillo variety he grows here is known for its resilience and full flavor, and when combined with natural processing and sun drying, the result is a coffee that has everything you could want from a tropical coffee. Tropical fruit, refreshing citrus, and a pleasant fruity acidity—all in one cup.

As the coffee is grown at an altitude of 1,500 to 1,550 meters above sea level, it has ideal conditions for balanced growth of coffee trees. The Huila region is known for its rich volcanic soil, which gives the coffee not only its intense flavor but also its complexity. Wilmer enjoys excellent climatic conditions in the Acevedo area, where his Las Brisas farm is located – the combination of high temperatures during the day and cooler nights allows the coffee cherries to ripen slowly, which promotes high-quality beans. This coffee is a great example of the connection between nature, experience, and the care Wilmer provides to his coffee trees.

This coffee has been naturally processed, which means that the cherries were dried with the pulp, giving the coffee its juicy, fruity character. After harvesting, the cherries were carefully sorted and then dried in the sun, which gives the coffee even more depth of flavor and a pleasantly full body. The drying process takes several days, during which the coffee is turned regularly to ensure it dries evenly and does not lose its distinctive flavor. This careful approach to processing is reflected in the juicy and fruity tones. The result is a coffee that is deliciously fruity, with flavors of raspberries, citrus, lychee, and tropical fruits, finished with a clean and refreshing aftertaste. Ideal for filter coffee lovers who crave a fruity experience with bright acidity and a full body.
