When citrus delicacy combines with floral freshness, the result is a coffee that will appeal to even the most discerning palates. It offers a dazzling balance between lively acidity with a hint of bergamot and an elegant herbal finish. The taste is fresh, light, yet layered. It is reminiscent of a sunny morning in a citrus grove, where every sip becomes a new sensory experience. You will find notes of orange blossom, lemongrass, and juicy white grapes. This lot has captivated not only enthusiasts but also professionals, as it was selected for the World Cup in Jakarta.

The Bella Alejandría farm proves that even after a crisis, something extraordinary can grow. Wilder Lazo, originally a cattle geneticist, returned to his family roots and built a business that today sets the standard in the world of specialty coffee. His farm in Huila, Colombia, is a symbol of precise variety selection and experimental fermentation; the high-altitude climate, careful genetics, and process control make it a leader not only in quality but also in innovation.

Maragesha beans are processed using the washed anaerobic method. After 120 hours of fermentation without oxygen, washing and drying on raised beds, the coffee acquires a clean, elegant profile with citrus, floral and fruity notes. Thanks to its complexity and competitive potential, it was selected for the 2025 World Brewers Cup by champion Laura Coe, winner of the Spanish national round of the competition focused on hand-brewed filter coffee.

Maragesha = maragogype + gesha mutation
Specific Wilder Lazo profile with its spicy notes
Used by Laura Coe at WBrC 2025
Fermentation done well (washed anaerobic 120h)
Extremely high acidity and very juicy presentation
Balanced fruit and citrus notes of both varieties
Tea-like mouthfeel, still able to taste terroir
