The coffee comes from the Antioquia region of Colombia, from the Finca El Pescado farm, managed by experienced farmer Iván de Jesús Arango, also known as Don Iván. This farmer, who has been dedicated to coffee for over 80 years, is a key figure in the Betulia region, where, thanks to his care and support of local farmers, high-quality coffee grows on the fertile volcanic soil of the Andes. His approach includes not only precise cultivation, but also community support and sustainable development. The capsules contain Caturra coffee. Caturra is a natural mutation of the Bourbon variety, characterized by a lower bush height and often offering a sweet, balanced flavor profile with a delicate acidity.
The coffee is processed using the washed method, which involves hand-picking the ripest fruits, washing and hulling them, followed by fermentation for 22 hours and drying for 6-7 days.
