This coffee comes from the Huila region of Colombia , specifically from the Bruselas-Pitalito area , where it was created as part of the Caimo Collective project . The aim of the initiative is to highlight lots with potential that would otherwise end up in anonymous blends. The purchase is based on a two-phase payment system – farmers receive the first payment after meeting the entry conditions and the second after the deal is closed, known as "reliquidation." The program supports education in post-harvest techniques, access to finance, and improved agronomic practices. The result is high quality, long-term sustainability, and better earnings for farmers.

Processing is carried out using the classic washed method, which is standard in the region and allows the fruity tones to fully shine through. The coffee cherries are hand-picked, fermented, washed, and dried under strict controls to produce a cup with a clean profile and clear structure.
