Every good barista or home coffee lover should take good care of their espresso coffee machine.
Urnex Cafiza 2 from the American brand Urnex is a professional product for cleaning espresso coffee machines with a backwash and their components from coffee deposits. The preparation is suitable, for example, for cleaning coffee machine heads, filters, coffee machine levers, or for cleaning French presses, spoons, cups and other coffee accessories.

Instructions for use - lever coffee machines:
- Pour about half a teaspoon of Cafiza powder (3g) into the lever of the coffee machine, which is closed with a blind sieve, and put the lever on.
- Start the coffee maker as you would for an espresso for 10 seconds. Turn off, wait 10 seconds and turn on again for 10 seconds. Repeat this process 5 times in a row.
- Remove the lever and turn on the coffee machine again as when preparing an espresso - let the water itself flow out.
- Put the lever back on and repeat point #2 a total of 5 times in a row, this time without the cleaning agent.
- Throw away the first espresso you make in a coffee machine that has been cleaned in this way.
Make a solution from one teaspoon (6g) of Cafiza powder mixed with 1 liter of hot water, in which you dip the levers. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, then remove the levers and wash thoroughly under running water.
