Timemore Slim Plus is a great gift for anyone who wants to grind coffee, whether they are away from home or on the go. A great and affordable grinder that is a real pleasure to use.

Timemore Slim PLUS TITAN is an improved sibling of the Timemore Slim and Slim Plus travel grinder. This model also has an all-aluminum body and a surface finish that allows for better grip. Inside the grinder we find new conical stones made of (carbon) steel coated with titanium alloy and 2 bearings for quality and consistent grinding. But unlike the Slim and Slim Plus grinders, this Plus-Titan version has new improved 6-edge grinding stones (G1S), which are designed to be suitable for consistent grinding on both espresso and filtered preparations. The perfect multi-purpose grinder!

Type of grinding stones:

      • G1S-TITAN - a new version of G1 stone in (carbon) steel coated with titanium alloy.

What to expect from the grinder:

      • quality aluminum construction
      • pleasant surface finish for a better grip
      • handy size ideal for travel (fits Aeropress)
      • precise roughness adjustment
      • steel conical stones suitable for grinding espresso and alternatives
      • the double main axis holding system provides stability that ensures even grinding
      • conical stones with a diameter of 38 mm made of hardened stainless steel
      • volume: 20-25 grams of coffee
      • comes with storage case and cleaning brush

High-quality grinding, the coarseness of which can be conveniently adjusted as needed.
The handle is held on the handle only by the action of a magnet - you need to think about it a bit when grinding ;-)

Hello. I bought a timemore Slim Diamonds titanium from you. The grinder is great. Now they are getting to know each other and I am trying the settings for espresso. After approx. 10 grinds of 9-15 clicks, I decided to take it apart and clean it. At least I will see how it looks inside. According to watching several videos on YT, I took it apart and cleaned it with a brush. After cleaning and assembly, you can feel a slight rubbing (idling) even at 10 clicks. It is possible that the stones are moving and there are some burrs, which after some time they will compare or should I send it for a claim. Under 8 clicks, I didn't know where the error could have happened? Thank you for the info. Oliver.

Beautiful day, Oliver. :)

In that case, we would try to disassemble and reassemble the grinder one more time. When disassembling, it should be remembered that you should not disassemble the surround into which the outer grinding stone is set. It is therefore sufficient to dismantle the nut and remove the insert, internal grinding stone, spring and smaller insert. Alternatively, you can, of course, remove the central axis from the other side and then reassemble the grinder. If that doesn't help, feel free to send us a video via e-mail to sluzebnicek@kofio.cz, where it will be clear how coarse the grinder is set and the stuttering problem, and colleagues from the claims department will be happy to look at it and possibly recommend the next course of action.

Best regards, Kryštof.

Kryštof: Yes. I only dismantled as you write. I only cleaned the rim with a brush, it remained stored in the grinder. I will make a video and send it to email. Thank you for now.

Good day,
how many kilograms of coffee does the Slim plus grinder grind and how much does the Slim titan grind without noticing a change in the grinding consistency? (tens of kilos/hundreds of kilos/ton?)
Alternatively, by what percentage is the lifetime of the stones extended?
Can these titanium alloy stones be sharpened at all? As opposed to only steel stones? If it is even considered that they will ever be sanded?
Thank you

Good day, Jiří. :)
There is not a completely clear answer to your questions. The volume of coffee that the grinders are able to grind before the change in grind consistency can be very specific. It all depends on how often the grinder is used, at what roughness setting and, last but not least, the durability of the grinding stones' sharpness also affects what grains are actually ground and thus depends on their hardness itself. Very generally, it can be said that the lifespan of such stones can be at least 5 years under the right conditions.
As for grinding titanium stones, I would definitely not recommend it and I don't even know that it would be possible. Titanium stones are still basically steel stones, but coated with a titanium alloy, which would of course be degraded by grinding. Rather than grinding the stones, the manufacturers themselves replace them with completely new ones.

Hello, which of the Timemore products would you recommend for the Moka kettle? Thanks a lot!

Iryna:

Good day, Iryna. :)For grinding coffee for use in a Moka pot, I would rather recommend the Timemore Slim Grinder Black Diamond PLUS model, which is already equipped with a steel stone that is sharpened in such a way that it can handle coffee grinding for filter and espresso preparation, i.e. grinding for coffee use in mocha sweat.

Hello, does this grinder really have a G1S-TITAN stone, as you write, or does it have a G1PLUS TITAN (according to the photo it looks like that), which, like the G1PLUS, is intended for E and B? At the same time, I want to ask in general about the difference between the slim PLUS and slim TITAN grinder, if I primarily grind with a French press? It is the case that the titanium version is simply faster (whether I grind for espresso or for a French press), but otherwise there is no difference, or is it that the titanium version is not so suitable for the French press and is better for such a case the slim PLUS version (or even just plain slim)?

Good day, Jakub. :)
This model is equipped with a real G1S-TITAN stone, which is basically steel and coated with a titanium alloy. This mainly guarantees a longer service life of the grinding stone. As for the difference in the grinding itself, I can rather recommend the Slim Titan model, which has improved stones already in their shape, when it comes to 6 edges and therefore the consistency of the grinding itself is better. However, the Slim PLUS model is also sufficient for grinding coffee on a French press.

Hello, could you please advise me which of the grinders will be better for grinding coffee on the V60? I can't quite decide between this Timemore grinder with titanium stones and the 1Zpresso Q2.
Thanks for the tips

Hello, Miriam. :)
In this case, the Timemore grinder will be a bit better, which is equipped with steel stones, which are additionally coated with titanium alloy compared to the 1Zpresso Q2 grinder. In other parameters, the grinders are both suitable for grinding coffee for the preparation of V60. :)
