It keeps the temperature - that's the main reason I bought this kettle, I can't see any other

Flap, the drink does not flow unless the fuse is pressed

If I'm pouring the contents = drink, then if I have some coffee left, the pot really needs to be tilted to get the liquid over the edge towards the spout where it's supposed to flow out (there's a stupid hump that makes it harder for the liquid to get over). So if I'm making 300ml of V60, for example I wash with the last 20ml to get it out of the kettle. I feel really sad to waste coffee...

The top part of the kettle (I don't mean the lid) is plastic. The plastic is probably stuck to the metal part somehow. If I wash the outside of the kettle as well (but it's been two hours, even if I just rinse it), then water flows between the metal and the plastic. I do leave the kettle on the drying rack, but even so, some water remains there, and the next morning I have to knock out the remains of what leaked there.

Thanks to the mechanism of the lid, there is also space for water to flow in during washing - you need to think about it when drying - again you need to ideally tap it out, etc.
