The usual rapid extraction process thats facilitated by hot water is replaced by cold water and a longer brewing time. Due to the low water temperature, more flavours can infuse into the resulting beverage, some of which are often not noticeable in a traditional brew. The resulting drink will have a fuller body, less acidity and more sweet notes.
The Hario Mizudashi coffee machine is the perfect accessory for making cold brew- it has never been easier to make this cult-favorite beverage. All you have to do is pour medium-coarse ground coffee (50g) into the filter and pour cold water over it. Then put the coffee machine in the refrigerator for about 8 hours, and get ready to fall in love.
