The Gringo Nordic roastery presents a decaffeinated espresso blend that doesn’t lose any of its rich flavor. This smooth and sweet decaf combines excellent decaffeinated beans from Brazil and Colombia to create a full-bodied cup with notes of chocolate, caramel, almonds, and a delicate fruity finish. Thanks to precise roasting, the coffee retains its depth and creaminess, making it a perfect choice for those who want to enjoy a true espresso anytime during the day – with no caffeine effect but all the flavor layers we expect from great coffee.

This blend combines Brazilian IGARAPÉ coffee processed naturally and Colombian SERRANIA with a washed profile. Both coffees come from farms that focus on precise production of high-quality beans while also emphasizing sustainability. Igarapé is known for its gentle sweetness and creamy body, while Serrania adds brighter tones and a light fruity acidity to the blend. Thanks to these characteristics, Senza is not only suitable for espresso but also for brewing in a moka pot or as a more intense filtered coffee.

The decaffeination process uses a gentle EA (ethyl acetate) method, which utilizes natural components of sugar cane to gently extract caffeine from green coffee beans. The process begins with steaming the beans, which opens their cellular structure and allows for more effective caffeine removal. They are then immersed in a solution of water and ethyl acetate, where caffeine is selectively extracted. After several cycles, the coffee is steamed again to remove any remaining solvent, and the beans are dried back to their original moisture level. The result is coffee that retains its natural flavor characteristics without undergoing a chemically aggressive process.

So, Vávra, you like it?
No, from a Swede, and what's wrong with that?
Then I'll go to Turk's for a new one.
It's a little stiff, Marisha. Is that from Turk?
It smells like overcooked manure.
I'm gonna go spill it before it kills me.

Method of preparation: arbitrary. I kind of expected to come across some pretty bad coffee here one day. It'd be nice if it didn't cost five grand. Let me put it this way. Even Illy's decaf is better.
