From Panama, Hungarian roaster Casino Mocca brings you an elegant Geisha from the Janson farm, where quality meets respect for nature. In the cup, you will find a light touch of bergamot, the creaminess of lemon cake, and delicate floral notes of jasmine that unfold beautifully with every sip. This is a light roast coffee for filtered methods, which allow its clean, fresh, and airy tones to shine through. Each sip is like a summer breeze from the Panamanian mountains—delicate, refreshing, and full of elegance.
The Janson Coffee farm is located in the Volcán area of Chiriquí and was founded in 1989 by the descendants of Swedish immigrant Carl Axel Janson. Surrounded by nature reserves, the plantations operate according to the principles of organic farming, with half of the area left to wild vegetation and local birdlife. Various Arabica varieties are grown here, including the famous Geisha, which is regularly awarded in the Best of Panama competition and is popular among competitive baristas around the world. This lot comes from a selective harvest of the Green Tip Gesha variety.
After harvesting, it underwent washed processing with natural fermentation, which emphasized the aromatic purity and elegance of the resulting cup. The cherries were hand-picked at peak ripeness and then fermented spontaneously in a controlled environment. Thanks to gentle processing and the uniqueness of the variety, the result is a coffee that is delicate yet leaves a deep impression. In ideal conditions, it resembles Geisha in its purest form – light, layered, and unforgettable.
