Broad sweet spot, easy to dial in
Special taste: boozy as a black coffee, with milk it tastes like eggnog
Works well for espresso, americano/long black, milk drinks, and filter
Probably not recommended for someone who's not into funky coffee

so far coffees from DAK have been the highest in my ranking and I strongly preferred more acidic and fruity, but this is an absolute TOP
I have to buy another one

I thought that nothing could beat barrel aged from Darkwoods - so I was terribly wrong. :D It was this coffee that knocked her out of the top spot, which she held for 3 years! :)
The beans smell like whisky, after grinding, just like eggnog - it was clear to me right away that it would be a very strong, spicy taste.
The resulting cup has a really strong alcoholic touch, it tastes like bourbon with a light juicy finish of red apples.
It probably won't be a coffee for everyone, because it's really very aromatic and full of flavor, but I really liked it.
