The Gringo Nordic roastery brings a unique microlot, SAN ANDRES Pink Bourbon, from the hands of the experienced Magaña family in El Salvador. This coffee features a smooth and sweet profile typical of Central American coffees, while also offering a lively fruity layer that makes it unforgettable. In the cup, notes of juicy peach, sweet mandarin, and white chocolate develop, creating a beautifully balanced combination of delicate acidity and velvety body. Thanks to the fully washed method, the flavor reflects the purity of the processing and the precise work of the farmers, who tend to their trees with exceptional care and respect for nature.

The Magaña family farms in the Apaneca region at an altitude of 1,580 meters, where they aim to blend traditional coffee farming with modern ecological practices. Their farms are in the hands of the women of the family, now in the fourth generation, and are home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. The team, led by Angel Magaña, tends to the soil and coffee plants with deep respect for natural cycles, which is reflected not only in the quality of the harvest but also in the sustainability of the entire ecosystem. We regularly purchase their entire production and have the opportunity to witness how their dedication and passion for coffee continue to elevate each year.

The San Andres Pink Bourbon coffee is fully washed, meaning the coffee cherries were carefully selected, de-pulped, and fermented in water tanks to remove any unwanted pulp residues. This process helps highlight the purity of flavors and the subtle acidity that this variety naturally offers. The coffee was then dried on raised beds, where it was evenly dried over several days to preserve its bright fruity notes and sweetness. Thanks to a combination of careful fermentation and optimal drying, the coffee blends the elegance of Pink Bourbon with the typical smoothness of Salvadoran coffees, delivering a unique flavor experience.
