Even without caffeine, coffee can be full of life! This exceptional decaffeinated coffee, roasted in the world-famous Fritz roastery in South Korea, will convince you that a rich cup of coffee does not necessarily mean a caffeine overdose. The first sip reveals fresh notes of green mandarin, which gradually develop into the fullness of sweet black soybeans and the warmth of roasted chestnuts. It is a coffee that calms, but at the same time has a complexity and character that you might not expect from a decaf.

The beans come from Colombia, from the higher regions of the Andes, where some of the best coffee varieties in the world are grown. This particular coffee is of the Caturra variety, a mutation of the famous Bourbon variety, which is prized for its balance and delicate acidity. This variety is popular among growers and roasters for its ability to express terroir—the flavor nuances of the place where it is grown. Although we do not have specific information about the farm, it is likely that this coffee comes from small growers who cultivate coffee with respect for the soil and tradition.

The coffee has been decaffeinated using the Swiss Water Process, a natural, chemical-free method of decaffeination. This process uses only pure water and carbon filtration, allowing the coffee to retain its flavor spectrum and natural sweetness. The Swiss Water Process is gentle on both the coffee and the environment, resulting in a cup you can enjoy anytime during the day without worrying about your sleep or your heart.
