Beansmith'sColombia Nogalesis an exceptional specialty coffee designed for pour-over brewing, captivating with its elegance and complexity. In the cup, delicate notes of juicy peach, mandarin, chamomile, and green tea unfold. Medium acidity lends the coffee liveliness, while the overall profile remains clean, harmonious, and highly sophisticated. Thanks to the rare Sudan Rume variety, this is a limited-edition lot with an unmistakable character that will be particularly appreciated by lovers of delicate and layered filter brews.

Behind this coffee stands the Los Nogales farm in the Bruselas region of Huila, led by Oscar Hernandez —one of the most respected innovators on the Colombian coffee scene. The Hernandez family has been growing coffee for generations and is among the pioneers of high-quality production in the region. The farm is located at an altitude of 1,600–2,000 meters, where the ideal climate and fertile soil create perfect conditions for the slow ripening of the cherries. Los Nogales is known for its emphasis on sustainability, soil health, and environmentally friendly farming practices, resulting in coffees with exceptional clarity and distinct terroir expression.

The coffee was processed using the washed method with mosto fermentation. After hand-picking, only perfectly ripe cherries are selected, which then undergo careful sorting and ozone disinfection. Fermentation utilizes the sweet juice from the coffee cherries, known as mosto, which imparts greater sweetness, depth, and complexity to the beans. The coffee is then dried slowly over approximately 21 days to preserve the stability and purity of its flavors. The result is a meticulously processed coffee with an elegant, tea-like, and fruity profile.

A pleasant balance
Well-done roast
No unpleasant or overly fermented notes
Just a light, fruity, and floral summer coffee
It isn't the most complex coffee, but that wasn't to be expected at this price
