This cup is where tropical fruit meets wild sweetness. Imagine eating ripe cherries and washing them down with a delicate agave syrup. The aftertaste is light, with a subtle citrus note reminiscent of a fresh fruit salad with raspberries and lychee. This coffee is anything but boring – every aroma and every sip brings a new layer. It's great for filter coffee, but feel free to try it as a fruity espresso. Very lightly roasted, with an emphasis on preserving the origin and flavor of the coffee right after processing. This will literally transport you to the Colombian slopes among the coffee trees.

Luis Alberto Laguna is not just a farmer – he is a man who combines agronomy with a love of coffee. On his farm in the Huila region of Colombia, he decided to grow the Java variety, which is still more the exception than the rule in Colombia. And the flavor notes you get from this coffee prove that it was a good idea – distinctive, sweet, and yet fresh.

The coffee cherries are processed using the natural method, which means they are dried whole, including the skin. In this case, they are dried on raised beds, which ensure even drying and protect the beans from overheating. This preserves both the juiciness and complexity of the flavor. The entire process takes place at an altitude of 1,850 meters above sea level, where conditions are ideal for slower cherry ripening, giving the coffee greater sweetness and depth.
