Behind this coffee is Jairo Arcila, a third-generation farmer from the Quindío region of Colombia. After more than forty years working as a mill manager, he fulfilled his dream and started growing his own coffee. His Santa Monica farm is one of six that Jairo has gradually built up. Together with his sons, he cultivates exceptional varieties such as Pink Bourbon, Java, Papayo, and Geisha. He devotes himself to each harvest with a precision that has made his coffee renowned not only in Colombia but also among specialty coffee lovers around the world.
This lot was processed using the natural method, which enhances the sweetness and fruitiness of the cup. Ripe cherries are first carefully sorted and then dried on African beds until they reach the ideal moisture content. The result is a coffee with extraordinary depth, where the delicate floral notes of Geisha combine with a fruity character and elegant sweetness. Each sip brings a perfect balance between exotic aroma, juiciness, and delicate elegance—exactly what you would expect from a top-quality Geisha.
