From the Colombian region of Valle del Cauca comes a coffee that pushes the boundaries of taste and perception of coffee itself. Finca La Inmaculada Eugenioides Natural from the Spanish roaster Nomad Coffee is a limited edition from one of the most renowned farms in the world. This rare, species-different coffee differs from Arabica in its naturally low caffeine content and completely unique flavor profile. The cup develops a delicate sweetness of powdered sugar, papaya, and melon, complemented by a velvety body and zero bitterness. The coffee is gentle, elegant, and exceptionally balanced, like an encounter between silk, fruit, and tranquility.
The La Inmbaculada farm, located on the edge of the Farallones de Cali National Park, is an example of biodiverse and regenerative agriculture. On 60 hectares of land, the Holguín family grows coffee in the shade of native trees without chemicals, respecting the local flora and fauna. Twenty hectares are covered by pristine forest, which protects the entire surrounding ecosystem. The Holguín family is famous for its experiments with extremely rare varieties. In addition to Geisha, Sudan Rumé, and Laurina, they also work with Eugenioides, a native coffee species and the genetic parent of today's Arabica.
This micro-lot was harvested in June 2025 at an altitude of 1,900–2,000 meters above sea level. The cherries ripen slowly in the cool Andean climate and are then dried for 24 days on African beds until they reach perfect moisture content. A total of 210 kilograms of coffee cherries yielded only 24 kilograms of green coffee, which shows the extraordinary selectivity of the harvest. Natural processing enhances sweetness and fruitiness while maintaining incredible purity and velvety texture. The result is a cup with delicate sweetness, low acidity, and absolute elegance.
