Gesha Natural Finca Inmaculada from Hydrangea Coffee Roasters is a Colombian Gesha intended for pour-over coffee. The natural processing method lends it a rich fruitiness, while the Gesha variety itself retains an elegant and delicate character. In the cup , sweet guava, juicy red plum, and floral notes of carnation unfold, creating a harmonious and complex flavor profile. The coffee is very clean, juicy, and delicate, yet distinct enough to allow each flavor layer to shine beautifully. Thanks to the combination of exotic fruits and floral notes, it offers a pleasantly fresh and long finish that will be especially appreciated by lovers of elegant, African-style Gesha coffees from Colombia. It shines best when brewed with a filter, where its aroma and lightness come through fully.

The coffee comes from the Valle del Cauca region of Colombia, specifically from the Finca Inmaculada farm, which is owned by the Hologuin family. The coffee trees grow here at an elevation of 1,500 to 1,700 meters above sea level, where stable mountain conditions promote slower ripening of the cherries and contribute to a richer flavor profile. This lot consists of the Gesha variety, which is renowned for its distinctive aroma, delicacy, and high flavor potential. The combination of Colombian origin, ideal altitude, and carefully cultivated Gesha creates the foundation for a very elegant and clean cup with a pronounced fruity and floral character.

The lot was processed using the natural method, in which whole coffee cherries are dried along with the beans. During drying, the pulp remains in contact with the beans, allowing sugars and aromatic compounds to gradually permeate the coffee beans. It is precisely this processing method that enhances the sweetness, fuller body, and more intense fruity character of the resulting cup. In this Geshe, the natural processing method beautifully highlights notes of guava and red plum without overshadowing its typical floral elegance. The result is a complex filter coffee with rich aromas, a pleasant juiciness, and a long, clean aftertaste.
