Colombia El Diviso from Gringo Nordic is a coffee that will amaze you with its complexity and elegance. Its flavour profile offers pleasantly fresh notes of pomegranate, hibiscus and ripe strawberries that complement each other beautifully. This coffee is a perfect example of the modern concept of a fine coffee that takes you to the tropical plantations of Colombia and offers a magnificent experience with every sip.

Nestor Lasso and his brother Adrian are behind this exceptional coffee, having taken over the family farm Finca El Diviso in the Huila region, specifically in Bruselas, at 1850m above sea level. Nestor and Adrian are third generation farmers and since taking over the farm, they have focused on micro lot production and innovative processing that has produced amazing results. Their commitment to quality, sustainability and organic farming has earned them international recognition and success in coffee competitions around the world.

This coffee is processed using the anaerobic fermentation method, where the cherries have been cold fermented in vacuum bags at 10-14°C for 72 hours, which slows down the fermentation process and allows for a unique flavour. After fermentation, the cherries were washed, dried in the sun and then finished on drying beds. This innovative process creates a coffee with a distinct sweetness, complexity and tropical fruit notes that make it a true coffee gem.

Tasty and well balanced
A little bit of everything – slightly bitter, slightly acidic, not too fruity, not too chocolatey.
Too dark roasting
The scent was not very intense.
