About Swerl Coffee Roasters
Swerl is all about connection and the love of really good coffee.
It all started during a trip to New Zealand, where we were absolutely amazed at how good coffee can be - a good balance between sweetness and acidity, full but not bitter. A variety of aromas and tastes that we could only dream of. Interest in coffee grew the more we began to delve into the complex and exciting world of coffee. Somewhere around that time we decided that's exactly what we were going to do - everyone deserves a good cup of sustainably brewed coffee, we thought, and headed home to start building a mobile coffee bar - our 1972 Mercedes bus.

In almost five years, we have built rewarding relationships both here in Sweden and internationally, with everyone from coffee roasters to the most discerning domestic coffee lovers. After all, there is an amazing community behind the coffee, which has a space that is always open to new members.

All of our decisions revolve around how positively we can impact our lives, and starting our own roastery was the next step on that journey. To create a connection between the producers we work with and our customers, to shorten the chain and make it as traceable and high quality as possible.
Our micro roastery is located near Falkenberg on the west coast of Sweden. There we roast coffee in small batches on a Giesen W15 roaster. We work with coffee producers around the world and follow the coffee season to always be able to deliver the tastiest and juiciest cup possible.
