Hello, the scale served me well, but now when I turn it on, ErrC appears on the display and immediately after that the scale turns off. What please? Thank you.

Miloš:

Good day, Miloš.

This could be a calibration issue. This procedure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjUMXM37Jyk

might help you

If you don't know what to do with the scale and it is under warranty, feel free to bring it to the store and we will be happy to fill out a complaint form with you so that our technicians can look at the scale for you. :)

Sincerely
Kryštof from Kofia

Hello, I bought this scale from you, but I have a problem with it. Sometimes my weight jumps up and down there. I turn it on, it shows zero and then it starts flying. Sometimes it shows 0g, but when I lean on the bar, the displayed weight changes as well. Is there any calibration required or something? I have another scale from another brand and it has never done this to me. I just turn it on and weigh. Thank you

Klara:

Beautiful day, Klara. :)

Some scales can be quite sensitive to what surface they are on. A stable, flat surface is ideal so that the scale does not have to be constantly calibrated. So I believe that when leaning on the bar, the scale can sense some surface change with the sensors and will therefore change its values. But that's just my guess. If the scale makes you angry, you can make use of the right to claim, if you have it within the warranty period. :)

Good day, I would like to ask if the scale has the following undesirable function - when weighing, the stopwatch is released and I lift the weighed container - does the stopwatch stop? Or they keep running even if there is nothing on the scale and I can continue to weigh. Well thank you

Boris:

Good day,

if you have already turned on the stopwatch on the scale and you lift the weighted body, then the stopwatch will continue to run and will not stop :)

Hello, would you recommend this scale or the Brewista Smart Scale? Use for espresso and V60. I was about to buy a Brewista but the local reviews put me off. Or do you have another tip?
Thank you, David

David:

Hello, David.

In this case, comparisons can be a bit difficult. Timemore Scale Basic offers a great price/performance ratio. In addition, it is certainly interesting with its minimalist design. It does the job perfectly and can be charged using a USB cable.

In contrast, Brewista offers several weighing modes incl. functions identical to the scale from Timemore, i.e. automatic stopwatch, similar weighing accuracy and dimensions. This scale is powered by a rechargeable battery.

Hopefully you will choose the right one :)

Kryštof: Thank you for the answer, although it did not make my decision much easier. But as you write in the introduction, here the comparison is probably more complicated.

Hello, does this scale have an auto-timer function? Thank you :)
Translated from Kofio.cz Show Original
Zuzana:

Hello, yes, the scale has an auto-timer function, when the stopwatch starts as soon as you add water for the first time.

Regards

Translated from Kofio.cz Show Original
Hanka: Hello, you must first turn on the auto-timer by repeatedly pressing the timer button, approx. 6-10 times, then the A icon will appear next to the battery icon. Then press the timer button to start the auto-timer. I couldn't find it in the manual.

Jan:

Exactly, you're right :), apparently they don't mention it in the instructions, but I found videos on youtube that could help.

Hello, is the stated accuracy of the scale 0.5g correct? Shouldn't it be 0.1g? Thank you very much :)
Translated from Kofio.cz Show Original
Jakub:

Beautiful day, Jakub,
you are right, the accuracy of the scale is 0.1 gram and the minimum weight of the object that the scale will weigh is 0.5 g.
