The patented Chasen Ring from the Japanese family-owned company HitoHuku is revolutionizing the quick preparation of matcha. Over the course of 9 years, the Spill the Matcha team has tested a wide range of alternatives to the classic bamboo whisk—from silicone replacements to standard shaker springs. However, none of them matched the results achieved by this stainless steel ring.
The Chasen Ring is unique in that it whips matcha into a velvety-smooth foam completely free of lumps—even without sifting beforehand. Specially shaped stainless steel coils ensure perfect mixing in just 10–20 seconds of shaking in a bottle. It’s made of high-quality stainless steel that doesn’t affect the taste of the drink and is dishwasher-safe. A great helper for home, the office, travel, and even for quick service in a café.
