This Sibarist 5 Piece Profiler Set is a set of tools that modify and change the contact area inside the filter and flat dripper, changing the extraction strength and flow rate and ultimately providing a different and unique sensory profile in the cup.
Each profiler has a different ratio of contact area to free space on the profiler surface, ranging from 25% to 85% free space in 15% increments for each profiler number from number 1 to number 5. Each profiler can increase or decrease extraction and flow depending on the used dripper and filter. So it becomes a tool that you can experiment with on your pour-over setup to see which profiler helps you get the best out of each extraction.
This set also includes a Booster, which can also be purchased separately. Sibarist BOOSTER has 40% free space on the surface, therefore belonging to profiler number 2.

How to prepare coffee using profilers
- Place the chosen profiler in the flat bottom dripper and make sure it sits on the bottom or bottom grooves in an even and level position parallel to the bottom of the dripper.
- Insert a coffee filter into the dripper.
- Rinse the filter and make sure the bottom of the filter is in contact with the profiler.
- Add coffee and start brewing.
