OutIn Nano 2: Espresso Almost Anywhere
The new generation of the Nano model offers a more powerful travel coffee maker for those moments when you want an espresso without a power outlet, a kettle, or a lot of equipment. Just add water and freshly ground coffee or a capsule compatible with the Nespresso Original Line. The built-in heating element works even with room-temperature water, so you can take the Nano 2 on the road, in the car, camping, or to the office. Although it houses a battery, heating element, and pump, it remains compact, measuring 236 mm in height, 71 mm in diameter, and weighing 740 g.
More espresso per charge
According to Outin, the new 5,000 mAh battery in a 3S configuration with a total energy capacity of 54 Wh offers twice the battery life of the previous generation. On a single charge, it can brew up to 9 cups, assuming it heats 50 ml of water from 25 °C to 93 °C each time. If you use preheated water, it can handle more than 600 extractions. Charging is also significantly faster; thanks to 45W USB-C PD, the coffee maker charges in approximately 100 minutes. Just five minutes of charging is enough for up to 30 extractions with preheated water.
Faster Heating and Higher Pressure
Inside the Nano 2 is a 120W heating system capable of heating room-temperature water in just 159 seconds. The improved pump reaches a maximum pressure of 21 bar, and the SUS316L stainless steel water reservoir holds up to 85 ml of water. The ground coffee basket is also larger, now holding 8 g of coffee. This gives you more flexibility when preparing your espresso, allowing you to tailor the result to the coffee and your own taste.
Ground coffee or capsules, depending on the situation
If you have time and a grinder on hand, you can use freshly ground coffee. If you want to brew as quickly as possible, the Nano 2 also works with capsules compatible with the Nespresso Original Line. When using cold water, simply hold the button down for about two seconds, and the coffee maker will start heating the water. With hot water already in the reservoir, just press the button twice, and you can start extracting right away.
Important Information
The original Basket Plus designed for the first-generation OutIn Nano is not compatible with the Nano 2. When traveling by plane, carry the coffee maker only in your carry-on luggage and do not use it during the flight. The new-generation packaging is 89% recyclable or biodegradable.
Warnings and Care
Pour only water into the reservoir; milk or other liquids do not belong there. Do not use the coffee maker while it is charging, and do not submerge the main body in water. Simply wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp sponge or cloth, and allow the reservoir and removable parts to dry thoroughly before storing for an extended period.
