Matcha RIN combines two select cultivars: Asanoka and Tsuyuhikari. Its flavor is characterized by deep notes of walnuts and a delicate, creamy, buttery sweetness. It is precisely because of this flavor profile that the Michi brand recommends it as the ideal choice for a matcha latte.
Behind this matcha is the Amsterdam-based tea project Michi (which means “path” in Japanese), which carefully curates its lines based on origin, cultivars, and the ideal preparation method. The leaves come from the first harvest in Kagoshima Prefecture and are then processed in the city of Kanoya.
Recommended preparation:
First, sift the matcha through a strainer into a bowl, whisk it with a little warm water until smooth and lump-free, and finally top it with frothed milk or your favorite plant-based beverage.
