Unlike many other coffee machines for filtered coffee, Mellita Aromafresh has an integrated grinder, with adjustable roughness. The mill has conical steel burrs. However, if you already have ground coffee, it is not a problem to bypass the grinder and just pour your coffee straight in. The coffee machine has a hopper for coffee beans. From one full container, you can prepare 2-3x 10 cups of coffee.
The intensity of the resulting filtered coffee can be influenced both by setting the coarseness of the coffee and then by choosing between mild, medium and strong taste. The coffee machine adapts the preparation method to your choice.
To keep your coffee hot for prolonged periods of time, you can use the timer function. You can easily set the time on which the coffee machine should start on the LED display.
