The ICOSA Aeresso is a handcrafted borosilicate glass cup designed primarily for espresso and to enhance the tasting experience. Based on the iconic Senti cup, it features an elegant dome-shaped design that helps capture and intensify the coffee’s aroma. This allows the espresso’s sweetness, aroma, and overall character to shine through more clearly.
The interior of the glass features molded grooves that aerate the coffee when swirled and simultaneously mix the individual layers of the espresso. This balances the flavor right in the glass, eliminating the need for a spoon. Aeresso is therefore practical not only for everyday espresso drinking but especially for moments when you want to truly savor the coffee and better appreciate its profile.
Although designed primarily for espresso, it also serves well as a tasting glass for filter coffee. It’s suitable for tasting, serving, and storage, and pairs well with other ICOSA Cyclone and Alto products. The glass’s maximum capacity is 190 ml; the optimal pouring volume is 75 ml up to the integrated mark.
