The ICOSA Aeresso is a handcrafted borosilicate glass cup designed primarily for espresso. It’s based on the iconic Senti cup and features a dome-shaped design that traps the aroma near your nose and brings out more sweetness in the espresso. When swirled, the internal Aeration Waves grooves aerate the coffee, mixing the layers so you don’t need a spoon. If you drink your espresso quickly without swirling, you’ll hardly notice the difference.
Inside are two pairs of diverging grooves that, when swirled, redirect the coffee’s flow and introduce microbubbles. The maximum volume is 190 ml; the pour line is at 75 ml. Diameter: 75 mm, height: 70 mm, rim: 59 mm. It fits under both bottomless and double-lever portafilter holders. Primarily designed for espresso, it also works just as well as a tasting glass for pour-over coffee. It pairs with the ICOSA Cyclone and Alto.
