Hello, I don't like to do it, but I have to. These filters just got worse. I'm writing this as a home coffee maker, I can tell the difference too. Sometime at the turn of 2022/2023, filters with such an ear began to appear, previously they did not have an ear (the edge was undisturbed by an ear all around). The material was already different to the touch, even when folding it into the dripper I recognized it. The flow slowed. What's worse for me, I really have a problem with the preparation times in the last packages when preparing the V60. One filter "works normally" and I have the resulting drink ready +/- in 3 minutes, another filter from the same package will take the preparation a minute longer, for example 4:20 (+ everything in between, I tried it with different equipment, results they are really that wildly different). I would cough up the time if it didn't affect the taste. Unfortunately, the impact is in the form of such a "subliminal" bitterness, which intensifies with the time of preparation. I tried the Cafec Abaca+ filters, unfortunately they are clearly more expensive to convert, but the shift in all directions is worth it in my opinion. If you spend a few hundred a month on grains, it's a shame to spoil your enjoyment with bad filters.

It's a shame they got worse, the original filters were absolutely unbeatable for the price
