I have had the regular slim for at least 6 years and use it often
Inconsistent grind making it hard to grind well on the V60
Setting the coarseness of grinding is always enough by eye
The second grinder I have is a slim plus. In Ethiopia and Rwanda, I already broke the grinding mechanism twice and had to claim the grinder. Plastic has its pluses and minuses.
For more advanced coffee grinders, I recommend paying extra for better quality ones.

Ground coffee is very inconsistent compared to hario skerton plus. According to observations, these are mainly the last grains that pass through the stones during grinding and are larger than the others.

I've had it for two years, it grinds well unless you're looking for something that grinds coffee consistently. I can recommend it for a start, but when looking for new tones and flavors, this grinder is not enough, there the Comandante is the clear choice.
