Unlike traditional V60 drippers with which coffee is extracted through the gradual pouring of hot water, the Hario Immersion Dripper is specifically made for immersion extraction. It is a method that borders somewhere on the line of a classic V60 filter and a french press, where ground coffee is poured into the dripper and submerged in hot water, in which it is brewed for a while until it is ready to be filtered through.
The advantage of this method is that you can determine the exact extraction time of coffee, allowing for an even and easy extraction.
