The Hario Column hand coffee grinder is the absolute winner when it comes to combining modern elegance with wooden features.  The Japanese brand Hario is known worldwide for its quality, and this grinder is certainly not about to ruin that reputation for them.

The grinding mechanism comprises of first-class ceramic burrs that grind coffee gently and evenly. In the upper part of the grinder, there is a handy hopper that can be closed and ensures that your coffee grains won't jump out at you when you start grinding.

The Hario Column hand grinder is unique in its design- a perfectly balanced combination of wood and metal give it a retro and modern aesthetic all at once. It will fit right into your modern studio apartment, but will also find its place in your grandmother's kitchen.  The grinder can grind up to 40g of coffee at once, which is the capacity of the lower container.

Main features:

  • stylish "retro" look
  • Hario quality
  • capacity up to 40 g of coffee

Does not recommend
Hario Column hand grinder - (CM-502C)
Tank size, coffee hopper
Design
Awkward adjustment of grinding coarseness
the thread on the handle, on which the coarseness of grinding is also adjusted, broke off after a while and cannot be used

Recommends
Hario Column hand grinder - (CM-502C)
Stylish and elegant appearance
Quality grinding
An excellent companion to begin with
Excellent price/performance ratio
Simple cleaning
Due to the design, the container is very wide for a comfortable grip in one hand
Even if you could hold it comfortably in one hand, it does not have a thread between the parts and simply disconnects
It is very difficult to set the same grinding coarseness twice in a row to repeat the same result
