However, what would happen if this unique mechanism were used to prepare delicious teas? That's exactly what the pros at Hario thought of, so we're happy to present you a tea set in which you'll find everything you'll need to prepare your tea drink!
Hario Cha Cha Drip Bouquet is easy to use, allows you to brew the purest infusion in the preferred amount, and its unique form will satisfy even the most demanding tea lovers. The Cha Cha Bouquet was inspired by the classic Hario V60 coffee dripper and so, like it, it features a glass dripper with wavy walls, which is set in a silicone holder and a silicone base. In addition, measuring cups on the wall of the server help to easily dose the volume, and the profiled spout facilitates pouring. As Hario is known for producing high-quality glass, you can be sure of the precision of the workmanship.
How to use the tea set?
To make tea, just place a dripper with a paper filter on the server, pour loose tea inside and pour hot water over it. Dripper is compatible with Hario V60-02 conical filters.
Leaching:
By changing the arrangement of the holes at the bottom of the dripper, the extraction speed can be adjusted according to the type of tea. How to do it? It is easy! The dripper holder and base each have two holes - depending on how you adjust them to each other, the brew will either flow out of the dripper or stay in it. Simply turn the dripper to change the settings.
Recommended extraction time (for 2 cups):
- Sencha (tea leaves) 6-7 g, (extraction time) 60-90 seconds
- Hojicha (tea leaves) 10 g, (extraction time) 30-45 seconds
- Black tea (tea leaves) 5-6 g, (extraction time) 120-180 seconds
The dropper is made of heat-resistant glass, so you can enjoy the color of the tea in addition to the great aroma.
