RÓG Espresso is a ceramic mug that immediately catches the eye with its minimalist design and playful concept. Designed without a traditional handle, but with a thoughtful structure of 44 delicate ceramic stripes that ensure the surface doesn’t overheat—so you can comfortably hold the mug even without a handle, even when it’s full of hot coffee.
Cleverly shaped ceramic
Thanks to its relief pattern of thin “ribbons,” the heat from the beverage does not transfer to the outer surface. Each strip has only a very small contact area, which prevents heat transfer while giving the mug a distinctive visual effect. The same principle works in reverse —with cold drinks, the ceramic doesn’t warm up from your hand, so you can enjoy your iced drink longer.
Minimalism with an optical illusion
The mug is made of durable stoneware, which is lightweight, sturdy, and pleasant to the touch. Its surface creates a subtle optical illusion —as you rotate the mug, the pattern moves and appears to “dance.” Becauseeach piece is handmade, it is unique, with subtle variations in color and texture.
