Inside, you’ll find a sturdy , silicone-coated tamping rod that cushions the impact when you tap the lever and helps release the used coffee puck without any annoying clattering. The weighted base with a non-slip grip keeps the box in place, so it won’t slide around on your countertop while you work. It has a capacity of approximately 550 ml, which is roughly equivalent to seven espresso grounds, so you don’t have to empty the box after every coffee.
