Does not recommend
Digital scale Hario VST-2000B
Design
Within half a year, non-functional resolution below 1 g, the scale measures only whole grams
Cheap plastic design
Zero protection of the insides from water
Slow loading
A piece of cake that should cost no more than 500 CZK

The price-performance ratio is absolutely excellent weight
I've had it for over a year now and it works without a problem despite the occasional splash of water.
The large dimensions are great for a filter, but it can be a problem for a coffee machine.
A little delayed response of the weight sensor

It works and does what it's supposed to - weigh coffee and track time.
Although the scale is made of plastic, it seems quite sturdy and I have already managed to drop it from the kitchen counter and nothing happened to it.
As Miss Simona wrote in front of me - even if you pick up or take down the coffee carafe, the timer will not stop.
I like the design of the scale, it's nicely minimalistic and I find it more pleasant to look at a normal digital display than the glowing numbers like the Acaia or Timemore have. When I'm making coffee, I just don't want to have a lot of modern technology with me (ok, it sounds a bit weird...).
The scale has a hook hole at the back, so you can hang the scale on the wall, which looks pretty cool.
Hario stuff is usually good quality, so we'll see how long it lasts for me.
Although the weight is one of the highest that Kofio sells, it fits under my coffee machine without any problems.
The scale has a slightly longer response/reaction than I expected. If you add a little water, the scale will show you the exact number in as little as 2 seconds.
For some reason the scale won't weigh less than 2 grams, so when I make loose tea from three grams of tea, it's a little weird how I pour the tea in there and it keeps showing 0 grams and then suddenly it jumps to 2 grams and it starts weighing normally. But then again, I don't want to be a picky eater.
I bought the scale at a discount for 1,250 CZK, and I don't think it's worth the full price of 2,000 CZK, but that's up to you.

When blooming, the scale can withstand mixing on the scale and the timer does not stop, which causes some cheaper scales to decalibrate or freeze completely.
Sometimes it has a slow reaction to the change At the beginning or at home, but it's enough

Is the scale according to the Hario brand from Japan or China?
Translated from Kofio.cz Show Original
Jan:

Hello, the Hario brand is from Japan.

Translated from Kofio.cz Show Original
Hanka: Yes, but the Hario mini grinder, for example, is made in China. So I wonder if it's the same here.

Jan:

Yes, that's right. The scale is also made in China.

Hello, is this scale waterproof?
Translated from Kofio.cz Show Original
Linda: Hello. Yes, the scale is waterproof, not waterproof. This means that it should survive normal pouring with water unscathed. But it is definitely not recommended to immerse it in water or possibly wash it under running water. Have a nice day.

Eliška Veselá: Thank you

Eliška Veselá: I wouldn't say that it is completely waterproof. The reason I'm here on the site is that I "drowned" her by pouring water on her yesterday, when the seal on the teapot came loose while pouring and the tea spilled onto the line. The scale has no protection against water, no seals, and the joints in the scale are not painted, if water gets under the weighing surface (from the side or more liquid from below), that's it. Of course, she doesn't mind being rubbed off the top. She served me for 2 years.

Tomáš:

Beautiful day, Tomáš. I'm so sorry she drowned. It should survive normal pouring with a little water, unfortunately - as you say yourself - more water, especially if it flows in, it won't survive.

Translated from Kofio.cz Show Original
Hanka: It is currently on ARO (=heating), if the resuscitation fails, I will get the same one, because otherwise, except for the water, it is a perfect weight :-)

Then I'll keep my fingers crossed that she breathes it in! :)
