The Asobu Cold Brewer is a simple device that allows you to brew coffee in two different ways, as Cold Brew or traditional hot coffee. Cold Brew is an innovative coffee preparation that combines ground coffee, cold water and a long brewing time. Coffee produced in this way has a very mild taste, with low bitterness and can be stored for several days.

Function

  • Practical - you can brew up to 900 ml of coffee or tea - hot or cold, without paper filters!
  • Sealed insulated jug - drink your coffee on the go! Keeps warm for hours!
  • Easy to use - add coffee, pour some water, wait a while and it's done!
  • Made of high quality, durable and safe materials.

Materials

Asobu is made of high quality materials. It consists of an insulated jug, a handle, a brewing chamber with a lid and a filter. The jug is made of stainless steel. Sealed, it can hold up to 1 liter and maintains temperature for several hours. The cooking chamber is made of Tritan material - a high-quality BPA-free and food-safe plastic. The valve at its base opens with the push of a button.

Cold Brew

To prepare Cold Brew, simply pour 6 grams of ground coffee into the filter for every 100 ml of cold water. To make a full mug, pour 54 grams of coffee into the filter and add 900 ml of cold water. Put the lid on and you're done. After 12 to 24 hours, open the lid and press the button to release the cooker. Add a few ice cubes and enjoy your delicious coffee!

You can also make coffee! Use warm water instead of cold and brew the coffee for 3-4 minutes. It's so simple!

I like the design and functionality of the product. It is great that there is a stainless steel strainer, so there is no need to use new paper filters all the time!
The possibility of infusing tea (I haven't tried that yet, as well as dripped hot coffee
The ball doesn't seal very well and sometimes the coffee leaks a little into the glass fridge when I have to put only the top two parts in there, without a thermos (the whole set doesn't fit on the shelf)

Hello, is there a best practice for making hot coffee? Pouring coffee, pouring hot water and draining it after a few minutes didn't work very well for me, it was quite bitter. thank you for answer

Chmelová:

Good day, Mrs. Chmelová. :)

With such a procedure, you must ensure that the water does not reach 100°C. In this case, the coffee will probably be bitter. At the same time, keep an eye on the time, how long the coffee "steeps in the water". Usually 1.5 - 3 minutes are enough.

Sincerely
Kryštof from Kofia

Hello, I would like to ask if the coffee in the net is poured with hot water when making hot coffee. Will the plastics and seals be damaged?! thank you for answer

Radomír: Good day, Radomír. :)
The plastics used in this product, including the seals, can withstand higher temperatures. After all, this Asobu is intended for preparing coffee with hot water.
