The legendary AeroPress now comes in a truly durable design. The AeroPress Steel Silver is made of professional-grade stainless steel and offers the familiar coffee-brewing method in a more durable and elegant silver finish. It retains the simplicity of the classic AeroPress, so all you have to do is add freshly ground coffee, pour in water, stir, and press. Thanks to the combination of immersion, filtration, and pressure, you can brew a full-bodied, clean cup of coffee without grounds in just a few minutes. And just like with other AeroPress models, you can experiment with various recipes, from classic filtered coffee to more concentrated espresso-style drinks and even cold brew.
The main difference lies in the design itself. The chamber features a double-walled, vacuum-insulated construction that helps maintain a more stable water temperature during extraction. As a result, there’s no need to preheat the AeroPress before use, and despite its all-metal construction, the exterior doesn’t get very hot during brewing. The steel construction is also durable, so the Steel Silver will hold its own at home, in the office, or while traveling. The chamber holds up to 360 ml, which is approximately 20% more than the standard AeroPress Original, Clear, Premium, or Go Plus models.
The chamber, plunger, filter cap, measuring scoop, and stirrer are all made of 304 stainless steel, which is highly resistant to corrosion, stains, and repeated heating and cooling. The piston seal is made of durable silicone. The AeroPress Steel is dishwasher-safe and uses standard-size AeroPress filters, so you don’t need to search for any special sizes. It’s also compatible with the standard AeroPress Flow Control Cap, which gives you even greater control over extraction and lets you experiment a little more with your recipe.
