Adapter + cotton filter for vacuum pot Hario (F-103S)
Easy to find—no need to search all over the internet; I'll just buy it on Kofio
Considering its durability, it's a good price
The filter isn't as complicated to maintain as I was afraid it would be. I can't compare it to the paper version yet, but I really like the taste of coffee from the vacuum pot.
I felt like there wasn't quite enough information on how to use and maintain it. For example, how to secure the filter properly (there's a cord around the edge to tie it), how to wash it, and how to store it (I end up storing it sealed in a Ziploc bag in the freezer).
I'm worried that over time the filter might affect the taste of the coffee (ghosting) because it can't be cleaned thoroughly. The water takes on a faint yellow color as soon as it passes through the filter "up" for the first time.
I could have just ordered some spare cotton filters right away. I recommend buying a few extra, in case you leave yours in the fridge for a long time, for example.
