2:AM Specialty Coffee is a Belgian micro-roastery and coffee school based in Namur, founded by two passionate baristas – Anaïs from Montreal and Marie from Namur. Their shared interest in high-quality selection and a transparent approach to the origin of beans is what brings them together. They focus on light, clean flavors and sharing the story behind every bean sold.
The roastery was born out of the friendship between the two founders, who met while working in a café in Montreal. Together, they spent months traveling through Central America, learning directly from coffee producers, discovering the cultivation and processing methods, and building relationships with farmers. Upon returning to Belgium, they decided to start a project that combines their own roastery and café with educational activities for the public.
Their mission is clear: to select only coffees from regions they have personally visited, thus ensuring full transparency of origin—from farm to cup. The goal is to present authentic, high-quality coffees that tell the story of the growers and the region they come from. For them, coffee is not just a drink, but a form of connection and knowledge transfer between producers and consumers. All coffees are roasted in a light profile and are available for both espresso and filter.
Although 2:AM Specialty Coffee does not yet have any official competition awards, it is gaining recognition for its authenticity, approach to direct relationships with producers, and active participation in international coffee events. Their greatest achievement is their growing community of customers who appreciate the quality and story behind every cup.
