Obadiah Coffee Roasters

Obadiah Collective is quickly gaining an enviable following in the rapidly growing coffee scene in Scotland. The founder, Sam Young, who first tried his hand at roasting in Australia (at Five Senses Coffee), opened his own roastery in 2017 on the outskirts of Edinburgh. 

The team works closely with its customer base and always try to adapt their roasts in order to accommodate the specific tastes and needs of each coffee shop and home-brewer they supply. Obadiah is also shifting the boundaries of the Scottish coffee culture, and pioneering the way forward through sustainable sourcing and eco-friendly packaging. "Quite recently we introduced reusable containers for our wholesale customers," says Sam.
