The story of Nowhere begins in the pandemic summer of 2020, when they opened a small coffee shop in Milan and gradually built a strong community around it. What began as a simple venture quickly evolved into a more ambitious project, and by the end of 2021, they had established their own micro-roastery. This step allowed them to have full control over the quality of the coffee and how they present it to customers.
The roastery’s philosophy is based on working exclusively with single-origin coffees —no blends, only single origins that highlight the character of a specific farm and region. They place great emphasis on ethics, sustainability, and traceability of origin, which means close collaboration with producers and a transparent selection of beans. They roast the coffee to preserve its natural profile and seasonality, while also regularly preparing it fresh based on the current selection.
